I'm just another face in the crowd. I have two amazing boys, I work and I spend alot of my "free time" cleaning. However, my home is usually a bit of a masterpeice in itself. That is of course if you consider the "I Spy" books masterpeices. That is to say....I spend way too much time painting, writing and soaking up useless knowledge. So wehn it comes time for company or the finding of things, panic and challenges ensue.
I'm a self-taught artist. I'm told I have a gift. That's great news for anyone to hear. Yet I believe it is due in great part to diligence and practice. Maybe it's odd, but I fear that structured art training might somehow mute the visions and poetry in my mind. I prefer to decipher the noise of life all on my own. My own ideas, explanations, and rationalizations are somehow more comforting than those of foreign sources. Unless there is a surprise donor who wishes to sponsor me that journey?!?
I look for opportunities to use my talents for charitable purposes. If I can brighten someone's day with a sketch of their foe or by the auctioning of a peice to help them with their ails....I'm all in.
